2022 Summer Solstice Two tons of beer released

In the late summer and early autumn of 2015, Beerhead's third wine "Summer Solstice" was released. This was the first solar term product to be delayed due to brewing problems. Since then, it has become the norm for beer lovers to only see new beer after the solar term (this is where the draft started).

Since the first works "Grain Rain" and "Lixia" were well received at that time, we felt that commercial brewing was not as difficult as imagined (silly). However, the fact was that we were inexperienced and had no idea where the error would occur. This caused "Summer Solstice" to be The first time we poured out the entire tank of beer.

The entire tank of two tons of beer was just poured out...sigh.

At that time, I thought it would be good after brewing a few batches of wine, but I brewed a lot of wine, the saccharification temperature of Xia Zhi was not calculated well, and the proportion of malt formula was not mature enough. Halfway through the fermentation of the first version of Xia Zhi, I tasted it at the tank. I found that there was an obvious astringency, and my heart went cold. Since this was an irreparable flaw, I thought hard for a few days and decided to release the water. The next step is to postpone the release date and brew it again.

Summer Solstice Beer is an American wheat beer. As the name suggests, it uses many American varieties of hops and combines it with Zhongdu Agricultural Cooperative domestic wheat grown in Taiwan to create a fruity, refreshing and moderately wheaty beer that can be enjoyed even under the scorching sun. Don't be afraid of anything. Every time the winemakers conduct quality control on the "Summer Solstice", they will recall the story of their stumbles at that time.

What they prepared this time was "Oysters Pickled with Herb Oil" and "Sauteed Eggplant with Minced Pork", which are refreshing and rich, making them perfect summer table delicacies. Pair it with "Summer Solstice" American-style wheat beer, which uses the citrus aroma of hops and smooth wheat body. It is most suitable to pair with refreshing eggplant dishes in summer.
